LOL
So it's been way too long since I have updated this! In 25 days Kaitlyn will be 2! I can't believe that she is almost 2! Where has the time gone?
Kaitlyn isn't in daycare anymore so she is spending her time with Mom, Dad, Neeno and many other wonderful family members that have been helping us out when we run into a scheduling problem. She is so full of energy and gets into anything and everything. Her most recent favorite activities are making everyone in the room get up and dance with her, paying outside in her pool, watering her garden and climbing anything and anyone she can.
Shaun planted a garden with Kaitlyn packed full of tomato's, broccoli, lettuce, green peppers, jalapenos, cucumbers, zucchini, strawberries, radishes, corn and sunflowers. She loves to water the plants and has tried to water dad on occasion.
Kaitlyn will repeat almost anything you tell her to. If what you are asking her to say is to long she will just repeat the last word. She has a memory like you would not believe, Shaun painted the front deck the other day and she walks out each day and tells us "Daddy paint this". We got Tylers hair cut and when you ask Kaitlyn is she wants to go see her doggies, she will tell you "hair cut, tyler, hair cut". Her newest things are "Here I am" when you aren't looking for her, lol. "Hear that?" when she hears that dogs or a noise outside or in another room.
Kaitlyn likes to sing and will sing along to most of the songs on the radio. She will also randomly sing, twinkle twinkle, bringing home a baby bumble bee, row row row your boat, itsy bitsy spider, happy birthday, and I am sure there are others i am forgetting.
Her newest fun quirks are that her to nails must be painted. She knows she has earrings and wants to show them to you, she will tell you to turn "light on" so she can go up or down the stairs. She will climb the fridge to make the door open and then bring you something random from it...frozen hot dogs, soy sauce, lol. She is very independent and will tell you "don't want to" or "do it myself". Recently she has started to say "no picture" and scrunch herself up when she doesn't want to have her picture taken. She had her first icecream cone on memorial day weekend and when i told her to eat it before it melts, she told me "No i lick it". She is so stinking smart!
Kaitlyn lost interest in potty training but has recently been doing better with it. She will tell you when she went and will sometimes tell you she has to go on the potty.
Kaitlyn has also taken an interest in tv and movies. She will sit and watch a show, answer the questions that Dora, Mickey, Umizoomi or Bubble Guppies asks, and interact with the show. She will ask to watch movies, like tinkerbell and others. She loves Bubble Guppies. "Watch Guppies". We took her to see Rio in the theater she was pretty good, she watched most of the movie and we were able to at least stay in our seats.
I love that little girl more every day. She is so awesome!
