One Month & Check Up

It's Kaitlyn's one month birth day! I can't believe it!

Today was our first trip to the doctors for more then just a weight check. It was Kaitlyn's one month Check Up. Kaitlyn is now 9lbs and 2 oz. 20 3/4 inches. She is in the 50th percentile for both and right on track. The doctor said that she is doing very well and to keep doing what we are doing. She laughed because Kaitlyn is so squirmy and active, she was amused that she already rolls onto one side and thinks she will start rolling over early and told me to watch her!! The worst part was the last part...the shot. She started screaming, poor baby! She calmed down pretty quick and I packed her up in the car seat and she was asleep by the time we got to the car. She slept from about 10:30 - 12, when I woke her up to get her out of the car seat. She fell asleep with her Poppop at about 1pm and it's now 4pm and she is STILL sleeping. Hopefully she will sleep tonight, though they told me it's normal for babies to sleep all day after getting shots.
